Chuy

Jesus “Chuy” Benitez joined CCFC in the summer of 2020 after spending a season with Honduran club CD Vida in 2019-2020. The attacker started his professional career in 2012 at CA Morelia who were competing in Liga MX at the time. From 2013 to 2018, the Durango, MX native had a successful career in the second and third divisions in Mexico before being invited to New Orleans to compete in the 2019 season where he helped lead his team to a GCPL title. A proven forward, ‘Chuy’ lead the 2020 GCPL Fall Tournament showcase with 7 goals in just 8 games.
