Game 5: Mobile United FC

WHO ARE MOBILE UNITED?
Mobile United recently joined the amateur ranks in 2020 after joining the GCPL Fall Tournament Showcase. Primarily operating as a youth academy, the southern Alabama club has followed suit with many youth clubs alike that have looked to create senior teams that showcase their graduating academy players. Currently the club has failed to record a win after three games, but not for the lack of talent. While the club is still finding it’s footing in the GCPL landscape, it has a handful of up and coming players who can make an impact on the field.

NOTABLE PLAYER
David Valverde saw success at the University of Alabama Birmingham as a four year starter and although a native of Mobile, he represented Costa Rica as an U17 international. The midfielder brings a plethora of experience to a young Mobile United squad.
