Crescent City Soccer (CCS) and Crescent City Football Club (CCFC) have partnered to build a stronger community for the game of soccer and further facilitate the footballing culture here in New Orleans.
“Crescent City Soccer’s mission statement (We exist to create a community of soccer in New Orleans by enabling anyone to participate and experience the game as a part of a network of friends, resources, and lifestyle.) shares some of those same values that CCFC wants to bring to the table.” said club General Manager Jonathan Rednour.
Crescent City Soccer was founded in 2009 and has operated as one of the top soccer organizations in the state of Louisiana, offering 6v6, 7v7 and 11v11 leagues for adults and younger players in New Orleans. CCS has worked with numerous New Orleans area schools assisting with creating and enhancing school and athletic programs. Also, assisting to enable facilities, equipment, funding and specific needs for young students looking to experience athletic programs.
“I’ve enjoyed seeing the adult soccer community come together in New Orleans”, said co-founder PJ Lynch. “It’s really exciting to see the league have many of its participants playing for Crescent City FC.”
