CCFC suspends summer operations; focuses on possible fall season

New Orleans, LA – (July 16th) Crescent City FC has suspended operations for the remainder of the summer season.

“With the current concern from our local officials , we’ve decided it was in the best interest of our players and staff to put things on hold for now.” said CCFC GM, Jonathan Rednour. “This was a difficult decision for us, but we will be back out on the field as soon as the opportunity presents itself.”

All future games have been postponed, including the friendly versus NISA side, Chattanooga FC, that was set to play on August 1st in Chattanooga.

“Things are tough all over right now and we understand.” said Chattanooga FC Managing Director, Jeremy Alumbaugh. “We’re all going day by day, but we look forward rescheduling with them in the future.”

Plans for a fall season with other local clubs along the gulf coast region are being discussed. Details will soon follow.

“We’re speaking with other clubs and hoping a chance to play in the fall is possible.” Rednour added.
