New Orleans, LA (April 7th) – The Gulf Coast Premier League has announced the schedule for its 5th season. Crescent City FC will open up their summer campaign versus Gaffa FC in Jackson, MS on May 8th (6:30 pm).
“The excitement around the club is evident,” said club President, PJ Lynch. “There’s a lot of chatter questioning about who we are and where we stand in the American soccer landscape, so we’re buzzing and ready to show who Crescent City FC are.”
The club’s first home game will feature Pensacola FC on May 15th (7:15 pm) at Holy Cross Field and will travel to Baton Rouge on May 22nd (7:15 pm).
“I am very familiar with a few of these clubs,” said Head Coach, Wilmer Peralta. “Our first game will be a big test for us and we will need to be well prepared going to Jackson, MS if we want to get a good result.”
CCFC will play a total of 10 league games against eight different opponents and will need to place in the top 4 to qualify for the GCPL playoffs which kick off on July 17th.
